Communication is critical for Duke Life Flight, where Kevin found a new chapter in his career alongside a team that brings out his best.

Here, he uses his unique skillset as a communication team lead to bring together care from across the health system.

Kevin says: "We’re able to provide that resource to get patients more definitive care; more specialized care that they may not have in other parts of the state. It’s one of those jobs where you interface with so many different people in the hospital or in the health system itself: the flight crews, the ground crews, all of the treatment teams. There’s a huge team mentality between us that we realize, you know, even though we have separate jobs, we still have one mission. I think that’s always been a very positive aspect of being at Life Flight."
