Turn your camera on
Consider every touch point with a company as part of the interview process. Your presence on video signals to a potential employer that this time is of value to you value and that you are engaged and ready.

Look the part
Dress as you would for an interview. Choose a neutral or professional virtual background to minimize distractions and keep the focus on you. Avoid joining from your car.

Participate when you can
If there is an opportunity for Q&A, take advantage. Prepare one or two questions in advance or feel free to ask follow up questions. Recruiters notice curiosity and preparation.

Connect after the event
Great impressions don’t end when the virtual does. Send the presenter or recruiter a quick note, share your resume, or request one-on-one time.
