Incentives and Benefits Designed for CRNAs
Commitment Bonus: A commitment bonus of up to $60,000 is available for eligible experienced CRNAs and up to a $45,000 commitment bonus is available for eligible new graduate CRNAs. These bonuses are paid out in six equal installments over a three-year period.
Relocation Assistance: Up to $8,000 in relocation assistance is available to help experienced CRNAs with moving costs, if living more than 50 or more miles away from a Duke University Health System facility.
Annual Stipend: A $15,000 stipend (percentage paid monthly) is provided to new hires who are employed at one of our three Duke Health hospitals.
Continuing Medical Education: CRNA team members receive an annual stipend of $2,500 for approved continuing medical education activities.
Flexible Work Options: There are a variety of employment options available, including full time, part-time (up to 29 hours per week), and per diem across Duke Health. This includes inpatient operating room settings at three different hospitals, endoscopy/bronchoscopy labs, outpatient surgery centers, and ambulatory surgery centers.
Paid Time Off: Team members accrue paid time off (PTO) to cover time away for holidays, sick time, and vacation. Time accrued is based on years of service on bi-weekly and monthly paid status. Starting accrual for full-time monthly paid new hires is typically 2.91 days per month (35 days per year).
Tuition Assistance: CRNAs can receive tuition assistance of up to $5,250 per calendar year after six months of full-time employment.
Retirement: Duke contributes 8.9% of the first $80,650 and 13.2% of annual salary in excess of $80,650, up to the statutory limit of $345,000, to the 403(b) after completion of one year of service (fully vested after three years).
In addition to these CRNA benefits and incentives, Duke Health invests in a comprehensive Total Rewards Program.
