Juntos provides a safe space for Hispanic/Latinx members to feel seen, heard, and valued. In addition to creating a space for connection, the group focuses on promoting opportunities for mentorship, sponsorship, and career development as it raises awareness of the social, economic, and health disparities experienced by the Hispanic/Latinx community.

Disability Inclusion and Community Empowerment 

Disability Inclusion & Community Empowerment Affinity Group provides a safe space for disabled team members and self-advocates as well as non-disabled advocates, allies, and caregivers. The group focuses on helping members of the disabled community more easily find, communicate, meet and mentor each other to build a sense of belonging and community, as well as advocate for increased accessibility within the workplace.

Professionalism Program

The Professionalism Program fosters a positive and safe work culture for all team members at Duke Health by training them to become Peer Messengers, tracking professionalism incidents, and offering resources and options to address harm, and supporting team members and managers to foster a positive career environment.
