Commitment Bonuses: Surgical technologists are eligible a commitment bonus of up to $10,000.

Relocation Assistance: $3,000 in relocation assistance is available for eligible surgical technologists.  

Pay Premium: Surgical technologists can receive up to a 20% OR pay premium, in addition to base pay.  
 

Employee Tuition Assistance Program: Team members can receive tuition assistance of up to $5,250 per calendar year after six months of full-time employment. 
 

Additional Bonuses: Team members can receive additional bonuses for referring prospective team members to Duke Health. 

Paid Time Off: Team members accrue paid time off (PTO) to cover time away for the holidays, sick time, and vacation. Time accrued is based on years of service and bi-weekly or monthly paid status. Starting accrual for biweekly paid new hires is typically 9.23 hours per pay period (30 days per year). 

Back-up Care Service: 10 annual days of back-up care at discounted rates using Bright Horizons' network of caregivers who provide temporary care when team members have a disruption in their regular care. Team members can use these 10 days either in-home for both child and adults for $6 per hour, or at a Bright Horizons center at $15 per child per day or $25 per family.
