PRMO Established in 2001, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) is a fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization supporting all of Duke Health, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Duke Primary Care. The PRMO focuses on streamlining the revenue cycle through enhanced management of scheduling, registration, coding, HIM operations, billing, collections, cash management, and customer service. Make returnoral and w ritten instructions, interact tactfully with customers andphysicians acc urately,daily clinic preparation process, patient identification, patien tcheckentering the primary care physician or referring physician andin/o ut, charge posting, cashPrepare for clinic visits by reviewing next dayp atients andothers. Report obtained medical information from patients and referringpatients on required forms and obtain signature as required by policycompleting next day preparationcompletely and timely. Disseminate messages according to practicemanagement and patient appointment distri bution, ancillary schedulingappointments by scheduling patients into the encounter forms.and preparation andactivities. Enter pre-visit ordersan d prepare new patient charts. Pickin Maestro Care. of cash to be collect ed based on insurance plan.Identify correct patient information in Maest ro Care. Verify patientdemographic data. Edit Maestroarrival in the prac tice.medical records, reports, petty cash and collections bag. File hist oryrecords. Attach HIPPA/Medicare documents to the Check-in patient upon visit. Present and educateCare as needed. Accurately identify the approp riate account for patientdocumentation. Return medicalup X-rays, office charts, mesheets, ancillary reportsand all other required patient recor dand procedure. Completes allMaestro Care check-in files and manage all appropriate alerts. Collectand post co-payments andbalances on accounts due. Imprint all patient specific chart documentsand requisition/transmi ttaldocuments. Copy, file and distribute insurance cards as indicatedbyp rocedure. Coordinate alllabs/procedures as requested. Maintain private p hysician office charts.Prepare encounter forms.Investigate and account f or missing encounter forms. Audit encounterforms for completeness andacc uracy beforeaccuracy before batching. Batches encounter forms or charge postingschedulingtests and procedures.Work Shift will be Monday-Friday 9 :30am- 6pm

Minimum Qualifications


Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education


Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or
