The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Duke University Medical Center is recruiting a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor pediatric nephrologist (non-tenure track), with a focus on patient care. This faculty member will help our practice expand to meet the growing needs in the Wake County area of North Carolina.  The successful individual will join a growing group of nephrology specialists within the Department of Pediatrics.  Our division’s clinical activities include a busy inpatient and outpatient service,  providing general nephrology, as well as management of acute kidney injury, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, acute and chronic dialysis, and renal transplantation. The division currently has 7 faculty members, 1 APP, three nurse educators, and a dietician. Our providers take inpatient call commensurate with their clinical effort, and the focus of the newly hired faculty member’s practice will include general nephrology and dialysis care.  Our division works closely with outstanding programs in pediatric urology, pediatric rheumatology, and transplant surgery. We have an active ACGME-approved pediatric nephrology fellowship program, providing opportunities for clinical collaborations and education. Applicants must be board certified in pediatrics and board certified/ eligible in pediatric nephrology.
