Respiratory Care Team Members

Incentives and Benefits Designed for You

Commitment Bonuses: Full-time respiratory care positions are eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus. 

Referral Bonuses: Team members can earn monetary rewards of up to $1,000 and other prizes for referring prospective team members to Duke Health. 

Relocation Assistance: Up to $8,000 in relocation assistance is available to assist respiratory care practitioners with moving costs, if living 50 or more miles away from their designated Duke University Health System facility.

Tuition Assistance: Team members can receive tuition assistance of up to $5,250 per calendar year after six months of full-time employment. 

Career Ladder: This program helps respiratory care practitioners continue to advance their careers through promotion. 

Back-up Care Service: 10 annual days of back-up care at discounted rates using Bright Horizons' network of caregivers who provide temporary care when team members have a disruption in their regular care. Team members can use these 10 days either in-home for both child and adults for $6 per hour, or at a Bright Horizons center at $15 per child per day or $25 per family.

In addition to these incentives and benefits, Duke Health invests in all full-time team members with comprehensive benefits through our Total Rewards Program.
