Job Summary:
We are seeking ClinicalNurse at our Fertility Center located in Morrisville, NC to liaise with all new patients and some established patients during their fertility journey. This role will conduct virtual intake visits to obtain a complete history and compile a clinical summary in order to optimize the patient’s subsequent visit with the provider. The Clinical Nurse will be an integral part of the fertility care team, demonstrating excellent customer service with great critical thinking skills and independently making decisions to provide continuity of care and a seamless patient experience.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate and complete virtual visits with all new patients to collect a history and clinical summary.
- Educate patients on their upcoming fertility journey along with expected milestones.
- Triage incoming oncofertility patients and assist in prompt scheduling (within 24-48 hours) while ensuring a full clinical summary is available
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and follow-up according to established protocols prior to the new patient visit to ensure face time with provider is optimized.
- Organize psychology consults for all incoming patients
- Collaborate frequently with the new patient coordinators and fertility nurse navigators to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Ensure patients have completed all required steps to move into the next phase of their journey.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Job Eligibility Requirements:
- Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
- All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.
Work requires three years of registered nursing (RN) experience.
Fertility experience preferred.
Job Hours:
Position will be Monday-Friday day shift
